You&#8217;ll be the primary engineering point of contact for new development activities, lead service replacement initiatives, and play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence across Veolia&#8217;s Mid-State and Highlands operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Project Management &#038; Engineering Design :\n<ul>\n<li>Lead capital improvement projects from inception through closeout, including conceptual development, detailed design, cost estimation, procurement, construction administration, and as-built documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for developer-funded main extensions and complex service installations.<\/li>\n<li>Translate Veolia&#8217;s technical requirements clearly to developers, contractors, and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare bid documents and coordinate procurement with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department.<\/li>\n<li>Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast costs to ensure alignment with financial goals.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare refund calculations for developer-funded water main extensions.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve fire suppression calculation reports for new or enlarged fire services.<\/li>\n<li>Support emergency response efforts, including large main breaks and other field incidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Lead Service Replacement (LSR) :\n<ul>\n<li>Support planning, documentation, and tracking of LSR projects.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and project status updates.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with compliance documentation and regulatory reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> GIS &#038; Document Management :\n<ul>\n<li>Utilize GIS systems (ESRI) to verify infrastructure data and maintain accurate mapping records.<\/li>\n<li>Manage engineering documentation using established tracking systems, ensuring consistency and accessibility.<\/li>\n<li>Align engineering records with GIS mapping data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Hydraulic Modeling :\n<ul>\n<li>Support hydraulic modeling efforts for system capacity analysis and new development review.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate system impacts related to new service connections or infrastructure changes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical documentation to support engineering reviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> New Business Coordination :\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate new development applications through internal engineering review processes.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct pre-application reviews to assess system capacity and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Will Serve Letters and service application materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Permitting &#038; Field Work :\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and process Government Road Opening Permit applications.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and document hydrant flow tests, including data collection and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support compliance with municipal and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Data &#038; Financial Tracking :\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate project and service data in Kloudgin and other tracking platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required).<\/li>\n<li>0-5 years of relevant engineering experience.<\/li>\n<li>Google Workspace experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, ESRI\/GIS, PowerPlan, or INFOR\/Hexagon is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Une exp\u00e9rience de la mod\u00e9lisation hydraulique est un atout.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances\/comp\u00e9tences\/aptitudes : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines independently.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills &#8211;
