Headquartered<br \/>\nin Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations<br \/>\nacross North America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsabilit\u00e9s principales (Fonctions essentielles) :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Environmental Technician consolidates, treats, stores, packs, transports and\/or disposes of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and compliant practices, policies, and procedures.&#xa0; Maintain detailed and accurate records.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Segregate and package material for transport.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Operate fork trucks and other mobile equipment to move containers to and from storage and treatment areas and to load\/unload trailers.<\/li>\n<li>Complete required documentation accurately, timely and legibly in accordance with applicable regulations and customer policies, practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Required Qualifications:&#xa0;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED<\/li>\n<li>Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the workday<\/li>\n<li>Ability to stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods<\/li>\n<li>Visual acuity to read labels and documentation; depth perception to safely drive forklifts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard had, steel toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications souhait\u00e9es :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer skills to complete web-based training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>Ability to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours.&#xa0; Must be willing and able to occasionally work nights, weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as<br \/>\nhealth, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.<br \/>\nIn addition, commencing no later than January 1, 2027, benefits package will include<br \/>\nparticipation in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.
