Develops and drives EH&#038;S strategy, cultural change and continuous improvement of EH&#038;S practices in alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices and global standards. Identifies and mitigates EH&#038;S risks in support of business performance and reliability goals. Provides regulatory expertise to strategize and maximize company position within safety, health, and environmental economic programs and interact with regulatory officials. Coordinates environmental, health, PSM, security and safety programs with an emphasis placed on identification and communication of regulatory requirements to facility personnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop EH&#038;S strategies and mitigation plans which are consistent with business performance, regulatory requirements and reliability. <\/li>\n<li>Assess the safety culture and develops strategies to monitor and continuously improve the overall EH&#038;S culture. Drives EH&#038;S strategy, continuous improvement initiative and EH&#038;S culture that aligns with in EH&#038;S practices in the business.<\/li>\n<li>Directs, conducts and participates in EH&#038;S site assessments by EH&#038;S team members to ensure compliance with policies and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures through audits that EH&#038;S programs have been implemented across the business and sites. Works closely with Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as contact for regulatory agencies. Provides notifications to government agencies as required. Acts as the Company&#8217;s EH&#038;S lead in investigations or compliance issues with outside agencies. Provides expert support to the outside regulatory agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and managers hazardous materials emergency response and contingency planning efforts. Coordinates with response contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and manages the EH&#038;S budget.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises two EH&#038;S managers directly. Indirectly supports a team of 10 EH&#038;S field representatives, Ensure that the appropriate organizational structure, staffing, technical knowledge and prioritization of work to support the business objectives and compliance. <\/li>\n<li>Designs and implements Supervisor and Employee EH&#038;S training programs. Identifies and coordinates environmental and safety training programs for all employees. <\/li>\n<li>Manages environmental record keeping and reporting program. Ensures that each sites maintains the appropriate EH&#038;S records for permitting, compliance and training records. <\/li>\n<li>Audits and measures the effectiveness of hazard controls and hazard control programs and communicates results to management. <\/li>\n<li>May lead or participate in accident or incident investigations as needed including conducting root cause analysis. Must review all accident or incident investigations. Work with management, HR and other EH&#038;S employees to determine corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee Worker&#8217;s Compensation Management program. Works with HR and supervisors to ensure that employees are fit for duty to return to work.<\/li>\n<li>Observes and complies with all standard safety code and practices.<\/li>\n<li>As a member of the Division Senior Leadership team actively contributes to the development and implementation of the broad enterprise strategy, culture and governance processes. <\/li>\n<li>Manage, participate in and coordinate the implementation of PSM and monitor and sustain compliance in conjunction with PSM and Operations team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with quality and continuous improvement programs a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Corporate VNA EH&#038;S policy and directives within the business unit and provide periodic reports on EH&#038;S KPIs to corporate as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environnement de travail :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel 5 &#8211; 40%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.S. or M.S. degree in EHS, Engineering, Industrial Safety or related EHS discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 12 years of experience with safety and environmental programs in a chemical, refinery, water treatment facility.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of leading teams or direct people management required. <\/li>\n<li>Prior experience as the Senior EH&#038;S manager involving multiple sites preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with compliance programs for the OSHA industry, construction and PSM standards.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with multimedia permitting: air, water, stormwater and solid waste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances\/comp\u00e9tences\/aptitudes : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be familiar with Federal, State and local regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are required.<\/li>\n<li>Requires a high degree of professionalism.<\/li>\n<li>Il faut \u00eatre capable de travailler de mani\u00e8re autonome et efficace avec d'autres personnes, au quotidien.<\/li>\n<li>Must be detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to develop innovative and creative ways to drive the EH&#038;S culture throughout the business while maintaining high levels of compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Highly proficient in the development of strategies, objectives and plans to achieve short- and long-term objectives for the department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Informations compl\u00e9mentaires<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourchette de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration <\/strong>$160000 \u00e0 $180000 par an.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages : <\/strong>Veolia&#8217;s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
