Environmental Technician II will be able to treat and process waste with onsite equipment. This includes pit mixing, drum pumping, drum dumping, and basic hi-lo and wheel loader skills. Technician must be able to complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Principales responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Collecting samples of inbound waste for compatibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Resolve and report issues with inbound loads<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Operate hi-lo and end loaders in a safe manner<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Have knowledge of our waste streams and their treatment protocol.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Requirements:&#xa0;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials<\/li>\n<li>Dipl\u00f4me d'\u00e9tudes secondaires ou General Educational Development (GED) exig\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack<\/li>\n<li>Visual acuity to read labels and documentation; depth perception to safely drive forklifts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard had, steel toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer skills to complete web-based training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>Ability to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours.&#xa0; Must be willing and able to occasionally work nights, weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
