Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for experienced, professional CDL B drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet.&#xa0;Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.&#xa0;&#xa0;This position will require 4 overnights\/week (with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsabilit\u00e9s principales (Fonctions essentielles) :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The CDL B driver works on-site at various retail stores and perform two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 1) Characterize segregate, package and document various types of retail hazardous waste and 2) Characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical waste. &#xa0;This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet State, EPA, DOT and EPA regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Travel between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory.&#xa0;&#xa0; &#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Provide services related to managing retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste as well as characterizing hazardous, regulated, and non-hazardous waste. &#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; &#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Properly process lab packs and prepare manifests and LDR\u2019s for hazardous waste shipment (according to State, EPA &amp; DOT regulations).<\/li>\n<li>Maintain \/ manage own expenses and travel schedule to ensure customers are serviced on a regular and timely basis. Manage route to maintain compliance with 10 day transfer schedules.&#xa0;&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum&#xa0;Qualifications&#xa0;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 21 years of age&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>High School diploma or GED&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Understand, read, and write English&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel,&#xa0;etc)&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed)&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Valid Class&#xa0;B Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL)<\/li>\n<li>Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications&#xa0;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid TWIC Card&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Hazmat endorsement&#xa0;(candidates will be expected to obtain a Hazmat&#xa0;endorsement as a condition of employment after hire)<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 year of route driving experience&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
