Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p><b>Description de l'emploi<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectif du poste :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsible for reviewing and approving hazardous and non-hazardous material for disposal in accordance with site capabilities, approved permits, and appropriate regulatory requirements. Determines acceptability or rejection of chemical components of materials utilizing analytical data, MSDS&#8217;s, and facility information. Ensures that the approval process is in proper compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T\u00e2ches principales \/ responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Waste Review &#038; Approval &#8211; Review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with meticulous attention to detail to prevent unsafe materials from entering operations<\/li>\n<li>Discrepancy Management &#8211; Identify, track, and resolve off-specification waste issues in FMS and Salesforce systems<\/li>\n<li>Labpack Audits &#8211; Conduct detailed audits and reviews of labpack shipments prior to acceptance<\/li>\n<li>Approvals Enrichment &#8211; Maintain and enhance approval data in FMS database<\/li>\n<li>Customer Communication &#8211; Provide timely feedback to branches and customers regarding waste opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance &#8211; Support field operations with drum segregation oversight and chemical\/waste compliance verification<\/li>\n<li>Technical Support &#8211; Serve as technical resource for incineration and landfill operations; assist or backup process planners as needed<\/li>\n<li>Tracks individual profiles to ensure that approvals are completed in a reasonable amount of time to meet scheduled incineration.<\/li>\n<li>Assigns pricing codes to waste streams.<\/li>\n<li>Assigns parameters in laboratory testing of individual samples to verify material.<\/li>\n<li>Provide constructive input on existing and\/or proposed policies, regulations, and other pertinent changes to expedite the approval process at the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Completes the approvals on a variety of materials.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the technical training for facility.<\/li>\n<li>Autres t\u00e2ches assign\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation \/ Exp\u00e9rience \/ Ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>5 to 6 years in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience<\/li>\n<li>1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances \/ comp\u00e9tences \/ aptitudes : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chemical\/waste analysis expertise<\/li>\n<li>Ma\u00eetrise de l'outil informatique Microsoft Suite<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of FMS and Salesforce systems<\/li>\n<li>Fort esprit d'\u00e9quipe<\/li>\n<li>Excellentes comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de relations interpersonnelles et de communication<\/li>\n<li>Forte orientation client<\/li>\n<li>Solides comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de communication<\/li>\n<li>Gestion du temps : capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 organiser et \u00e0 g\u00e9rer des \u00e9ch\u00e9ances multiples<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and safety focus<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certification \/ licence \/ formation requises : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification OSHA HAZWOPER<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Informations compl\u00e9mentaires<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages : <\/strong>Veolia&#8217;s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
