Provide senior technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight of waste approval processes and compliance operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Waste Review and Approval <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with meticulous attention to detail to prevent unsafe materials from entering operations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct advanced chemical composition analysis and hazard characterization assessments<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain chemical acceptance criteria, thresholds, and approval protocols<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement waste approval standards and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and supervise junior technical staff on waste analysis methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Provide senior-level technical authority on complex or high-risk waste streams<\/li>\n<li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives for approval processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Discrepancy Management <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, track, and resolve off-specification waste issues in FMS and Salesforce systems<\/li>\n<li>Conduct root cause analysis on compliance failures and safety concerns<\/li>\n<li>Develop corrective action plans and preventive measures<\/li>\n<li>Supervise investigation of discrepancies and ensure timely resolution<\/li>\n<li>Escalate critical safety or compliance issues to management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain comprehensive audit trails and documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Labpack Audits <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct detailed audits and reviews of labpack shipments prior to acceptance<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain audit protocols, quality standards, and acceptance criteria<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve high-risk or complex waste materials<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and train staff on labpack audit procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all materials meet acceptance criteria prior to operational intake<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance on packaging and labeling compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Approvals Enrichment <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and enhance approval data in FMS database<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain chemical compatibility matrices and reference databases<\/li>\n<li>Create and update technical documentation and approval guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Implement system improvements to enhance data quality and accessibility<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate, complete, and traceable records of all waste approvals<\/li>\n<li>Lead database optimization and standardization initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Customer Communication <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide timely feedback to branches and customers regarding waste opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Communicate acceptance\/rejection decisions with clear technical justification<\/li>\n<li>Identify and communicate waste stream opportunities to maximize approved volume<\/li>\n<li>Serve as senior technical liaison between operations and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships<\/li>\n<li>Represent technical department in customer negotiations and discussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Quality Assurance <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support field operations with drum segregation oversight and chemical\/waste compliance verification<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for waste acceptance<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic audits of approval processes and compliance<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on approval metrics and performance indicators<\/li>\n<li>Recommend process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Supervise quality assurance activities and staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Technical Support <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as technical resource for incineration and landfill operations;
