Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>Performs various assigned tasks and physical labor to ensure proper treatment and disposal of customers\u2019 hazardous waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost-effective practices and Clean Earth policies, practices, and procedures. The ability to oversee a small project\/job with supervision of personnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handles hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material in accordance with Lab Pack policies, procedures and practices and all applicable regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally performs onsite services which may include waste collection, consolidation (i.e., bulking, repackaging), sampling, safety\/compliance inspections, and other related activities required by the customer\/contract.<\/li>\n<li>Assists other business groups, i.e., Depack, Retail and HHW, for both internally and onsite as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing shipment of packaged waste by inspecting, labeling, marking, and loading into the transport vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Properly completes documentation including shipping papers, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR\u2019s), evaluations\/certifications and other required documentation in accordance with appropriate regulations and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Follows, understands, and promotes by example, all Health &amp; Safety \/Job Safety Analysis (JSA\u2019s) procedures including development of on-site Health &amp;Safety plans\/JSA\u2019s as outlined in the procedures and policies,<\/li>\n<li>Submit Lab Packs for approval to third party outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Perform unknown field testing for classification and packaging for transportation and disposal.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and assist new employees in lab pack work duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Performs other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate College degree in area of General Science or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Clean driving record<\/li>\n<li>Occasional travel<\/li>\n<li>Physical ability to lift and move material of various weights frequently exceeding 55 lbs.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of chemistry through general chemistry or biology<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of EPA and DOT<\/li>\n<li>Minimum one (1) year lab pack experience<\/li>\n<li>40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120)<\/li>\n<li>40 hours Depack Experience<\/li>\n<li>8 hours DOT Training<\/li>\n<li>PPE Training which includes Respirators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION\/CREDENTIALS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS\/BA in science related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages :<\/strong> L'ensemble complet d'avantages sociaux comprend des politiques de cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s, ainsi que des assurances sant\u00e9, dentaire, vision, vie, le remboursement des frais de scolarit\u00e9, le b\u00e9n\u00e9volat r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9, et plus encore.
