Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p><b>Description de l'emploi<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ce poste est situ\u00e9 dans une usine de fabrication de semi-conducteurs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectif du poste : <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Provides program management oversight for the facility&#8217;s environmental compliance programs such as hazardous waste profiling, shipping, and management, Storm Water compliance, and other similar\/related environmental compliance programs as defined by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and authorities and the sites contract stipulations. Will implement and directly supervise at least one program within the oversight reach (e.g. hazardous waste management) and provided supervisory support to staff within the other areas of oversight.  Can be called to conduct associated laboratory packing procedures; participates, leads and\/or assists with industrial\/commercial plan reviews, public outreach and education, enforcement of NPDES, Regional Monitoring, and Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit Program&#8217;s provisions and local ordinance provisions, coordination with other City departments and divisions, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervises staff within the waste management, Industrial Pretreatment, and compliance areas<\/li>\n<li>Conducts: periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed; internal investigation of compliance issues; assess compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies for areas of oversight and execution<\/li>\n<li>Conduct environmental audits to ensure adherence to regulatory permit and contractual standards<\/li>\n<li>Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities and translates into work plans\/work action<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a valid driver&#8217;s license and a safe driving record<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to interact with Industrial\/Commercial Contacts and present themselves\/ VWNA in a professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Write reports and business correspondence with the Client, Regulatory agencies and the regulated community<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, regulatory agencies, and industrial\/commercial clients. <\/li>\n<li>Samples and inspects commercial and industrial facilities for compliance with federal regulations and local ordinances and management objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Investigates, and reports RCRA, DOT and 90 day issues.<\/li>\n<li>Interfaces with local businesses and city officials on a daily basis to achieve compliance objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in community outreach activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in laboratory support activities<\/li>\n<li>Reports and documents the results of inspections and work performed.<\/li>\n<li>Operates vehicles and mobile equipment for environmental compliance purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Veille \u00e0 ce que le travail soit effectu\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre et professionnelle en respectant les proc\u00e9dures \u00e9tablies en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, de fonctionnement et d'intervention en cas d'urgence.<\/li>\n<li>Effectuer des t\u00e2ches de nettoyage et d'entretien de l'espace de travail, des outils et de l'\u00e9quipement.<\/li>\n<li>Performs related duties as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environnement de travail : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il faut travailler dans des environnements int\u00e9rieurs et ext\u00e9rieurs bruyants, \u00e0 toutes les temp\u00e9ratures et dans toutes les conditions climatiques, et \u00eatre capable de travailler dans des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques d\u00e9favorables pendant de longues p\u00e9riodes.<\/li>\n<li>Requires using chemicals for laboratory sampling purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience or knowledge of waste profiling and management techniques<\/li>\n<li>College level Chemistry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances\/comp\u00e9tences\/aptitudes : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate successfully with client, regulatory officials and members of the general public<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage databases<\/li>\n<li>Some knowledge of analytical laboratory testing procedures<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate a working ability to use computer programs.<\/li>\n<li>Requires good reading, math, writing, scientific, and verbal communication skills;
