Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>This position is responsible for performing lab tests on incoming\/outgoing shipments and assists Supervisor with treatability studies.&#xa0; &#xa0;This position includes monitoring safety regulations and the use of equipment, initiating work orders for repairs of equipment and maintaining production logs and QC paperwork.&#xa0; Logging of test results in CORE waste management software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsabilit\u00e9s principales (Fonctions essentielles) :<\/strong><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform wet chemistry test on inbound\/outbound load QC samples.<\/li>\n<li>Perform PCB analysis on QC samples.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance and comply with Waste Analysis Plan (WAP).<\/li>\n<li>Complete and submit QC\/QA documents to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>File, electronically, the completed QC\/QA document.<\/li>\n<li>Review QC\/QA test results to Waste profile Sheet to determine if results match profile.<\/li>\n<li>Process (consolidate) waste samples into larger containers.<\/li>\n<li>Package Samples to ship off site for testing.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate off-specification materials to managers.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct toolbox talks and area inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Lab QC Supervisor to accomplish daily goals.<\/li>\n<li>Promptly report any incidents, injuries or safety concerns to management.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to and abide by Clean Earth safety and security policies and procedures (e.g.Cardinal Rules, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.<\/li>\n<li>Responsibilities may vary based on site level and\/or location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:&#xa0; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must&#xa0;be able to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is&#xa0;generally climate&#xa0;controlled.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to&#xa0;lift up&#xa0;to 20 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to sit for&#xa0;long periods&#xa0;of time.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Must&#xa0;be able to stand or walk for&#xa0;long periods&#xa0;of time.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to wear company-issued personal protection equipment\u202f(PPE)&#xa0;as needed,\u202fincluding,&#xa0;but not limited to,\u202fsafety glasses, hard\u202fhat, steel-toed\u202fboots, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.\u202f\u202f&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work&#xa0;overtime hours&#xa0;as needed\u202fbased on business needs.\u202f&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience and Skills:&#xa0; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Education<\/strong>:&#xa0;\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED<\/li>\n<li>Associate\u2019s or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Chemistry or an Environmental Sciences field preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience<\/strong>:&#xa0;\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of prior experience working in a laboratory<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of experience as a Lab QC Technician<\/li>\n<li>Formation HAZWOPER de 40 heures<\/li>\n<li>Experience with basic lab techniques and calculation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Skills<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency with Windows<strong>&#8211;<\/strong>based programs<strong> <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of gas chromatography and\/or ICP-OES<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of chemical compatibilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written&#xa0;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
