This position is also responsible for strategic procurement initiatives aimed at decreasing unit costs and recommending new initiatives leveraging spend on a national and international basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyzes, recommends, and implements national contracts for assigned Commodities.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiates price changes and new contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Implements Minority Business Enterprise program throughout region.<\/li>\n<li>Implements corporate procurement standards and procedures throughout all region locations.<\/li>\n<li>Provides input to corporate on development of new and existing corporate procurement standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Works with sister and parent company procurement specialists to develop synergies and savings.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates new vendors and maintains current vendor relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Provides full procurement support for all region needs.<\/li>\n<li>Trains region procurement staff and region supply chain staff.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates warehouse and inventory control systems in place (supply management processes).<\/li>\n<li>Assists in development of corporate standard for supply management.<\/li>\n<li>Implements corporate supply management processes.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains region inventories.<\/li>\n<li>Implements e-procurement programs and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BABusiness Administration\/Engineering\/ Economics -preferred(or);<\/li>\n<li>Equivalent work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10+ years business experience, at least 5 years in related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances\/comp\u00e9tences\/aptitudes :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer Skills MS Office Suite and PeopleSoft.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership Skills-Innovative, proactive and decision maker.<\/li>\n<li>Organizational Skills-Ability to prioritize and focus on areas of significant impact.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management Skills-ability to work in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal Skills-Able to deal with internal and external customers and suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certification\/licences\/formation requises :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Purchasing Management (CPM) preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Informations compl\u00e9mentaires<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages : <\/strong>Veolia&#8217;s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
