Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>Under the guidance of the Waste Processing Supervisor, the Waste Processing Team Lead helps oversee a team of Environmental Technicians that perform routine and frequent manual and heavy labor tasks to properly<br \/>\nconsolidate, treat, store, pack, transport and\/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally<br \/>\nresponsible and cost-effective practices and Clean Earth policies, practices and procedures. The Waste Processing Team Lead will maintain records with accuracy and attention to detail and will need to be able to follow instruction and to work independently. The Waste Processing Team Lead will help to train the Environmental Technicians to ensure they work compliantly and safely. This is not a supervisory role and does not have direct reports.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Principales responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nSegregate and package material for transport and complete required paperwork in a legible, accurate,<br \/>\nand timely manner in accordance with appropriate regulations and Customer\/Clean Earth policies,<br \/>\npractices, and procedures.<br \/>\nOversee a team of technicians and oversee large projects and orders from receipt to settlement.<br \/>\nCollect samples of inbound waste and perform onsite testing for unknown materials.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state and local permit requirements.<br \/>\nCommunicate to management facility needs, difficulties, and changes in operations.<br \/>\nProvide training and coaching to technicians and operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service<br \/>\nline processes, and necessary paperwork.&#xa0;<br \/>\nOperate fork trucks and other heavy equipment when properly trained to move materials for storage\/<br \/>\nloading and off-loading.<br \/>\nMaintain operational documentation including but not limited to reports, licenses, procedures, DOT<br \/>\nrequirements, and order requirements.<br \/>\nPromptly report any incidents, injuries or safety concerns to management.&#xa0;<br \/>\nAdhere to and abide by Clean Earth safety and security policies and procedures (e.g.Cardinal Rules, Job<br \/>\nSafety Analyses (JSAs), etc.)&#xa0;&#xa0;Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.<br \/>\nResponsibilities may vary based on site level and\/or location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Environnement de travail :<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance and up to 75 pounds unassisted on<br \/>\noccasion.<br \/>\nAbility to push and pull up to 500 pounds using a pallet jack, hand truck, or other device to assist.<br \/>\nAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled<br \/>\nenvironments.<br \/>\nVisual acuity to read labels and documentation and sufficient depth perception to safely operate forklifts.<br \/>\nAbility to hear vehicle warning chimes, alarms, and other audible safety signals.<br \/>\nAbility and willingness to wear company-issued personal protection equipment (PPE), including, but not<br \/>\nlimited to, safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.&#xa0;<br \/>\nAbility to work overtime hours as needed based on business needs.<br \/>\nOccasional travel to customer sites may be required based on business needs.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>\u00c9ducation :<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\no High school diploma or GED Required<br \/>\no Associate\u2019s degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science-related field (preferred)<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Exp\u00e9rience :<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\no Must be 18 years of age or older in accordance with federal and state labor laws<br \/>\no 2+ years of experience working with hazardous waste (preferred)<br \/>\no Completion of 40 hours OSHA training with 8-hour refresher course (preferred)<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Skills:&#xa0;<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\no May be required to pass a DEA background check based on site<br \/>\no Forklift certified with possession of safe driving record (preferred)<br \/>\no Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, EPA, and state waste regulations<br \/>\no Ability to operate manual equipment such as a pallet jack to load and unload trucks<br \/>\no Ability to use a computer for web-based training and inventory tracking purposes<br \/>\no Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English<br \/>\no Ability to deal politely with customers and team members<br \/>\no Ability to oversee large projects and lead a team<\/p>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
