This position helps ensure reliable plant operations, regulatory compliance, equipment availability, and a safe working environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater treatment equipment and facility systems.<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on:\n<ul>\n<li>Pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, and gearboxes<\/li>\n<li>Valves, piping, gates, screens, and conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Clarifiers, aeration equipment, mixers, and disinfection systems<\/li>\n<li>Sludge-processing equipment, including presses, centrifuges, and conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Chemical-feed systems and storage equipment<\/li>\n<li>HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation problems.<\/li>\n<li>Use electrical meters, hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.<\/li>\n<li>Perform basic electrical repairs, motor troubleshooting, wiring, control-panel work, and component replacement, as authorized.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, belts, bearings, seals, couplings, and other rotating equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with installation, alignment, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to equipment failures, alarms, spills, and other operational emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Complete work orders, inspection reports, maintenance logs, parts requests, and regulatory records accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts, lubricants, and maintenance supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with plant operators to schedule maintenance while minimizing disruption to treatment processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist contractors and inspectors working at the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding, and rigging tasks when qualified and authorized.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, vehicles, and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Follow lockout\/tagout, confined-space entry, hot-work, fall-protection, chemical-handling, and other safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in emergency response, standby, on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Support facility improvement projects and other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environnement de travail : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed throughout the wastewater treatment facility, including pump stations, treatment basins, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, laboratories, buildings, and outdoor areas.<\/li>\n<li>The position may involve exposure to wastewater, biological hazards, chemicals, high noise levels, moving machinery, slippery surfaces, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures.<\/li>\n<li>Employees must follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un dipl\u00f4me de fin d'\u00e9tudes secondaires est exig\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Two or more years of experience in industrial maintenance, municipal utilities, wastewater treatment, manufacturing, or a related field;
