Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9parties sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p><b>Description de l'emploi<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectif du poste : <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will perform field service orders as needed, collect water samples, install, reads, maintains and test customer service meters. This assist with field maintenance and repairs of mains and service lines as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales fonctions\/responsabilit\u00e9s : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for performing turn on and\/or off, setting, reading, removing, repairing, testing and\/or replacing residential water meters and recording data.<\/li>\n<li>Investigating billing complaints in the field by confirming readings and checking for leaks or main breaks.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring cross-connection control and\/or locating service lines.<\/li>\n<li>Tagging doors for termination of service to delinquent customer accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Performing routine valve box maintenance, ensuring lids are present, valves are operational, and valve boxes are cleaned out.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to customer inquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with T&#038;D Operations as needed, setting up job sites with required signage and traffic cones, traffic control, water main repairs, and assisting Contractor with any other required work as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Perform treatment operations, flushing hydrants, and heavy lifting may be required.<\/li>\n<li>Rotating weekday and weekend on call required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work overtime.<\/li>\n<li>Collecte d'\u00e9chantillons.<\/li>\n<li>And any other duties that may be required\/requested by management.<\/li>\n<li>Performs mark-outs for underground digging and locates.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with all other field activities, as needed, such as new main and service line installations, repairs to mains and service lines and building construction and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Performs pumping facility checks, when needed, including entering data, replenishing chemical tanks, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Manager with the installation of SCADA and control equipment at newly acquired systems.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Manager and laboratory to remain compliant with yearly sampling program.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Manager on the design of pumping and treatment equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environnement de travail :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have the ability to perform field services at all times of the year even during inclement weather.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formation\/exp\u00e9rience\/ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un dipl\u00f4me de fin d'\u00e9tudes secondaires est exig\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years in the water utility business preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connaissances\/comp\u00e9tences\/aptitudes : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have excellent customer relation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to write accurately and possess good communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must have basic computer skills or ability to learn google based programs.<\/li>\n<li>Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work well under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler de mani\u00e8re ind\u00e9pendante.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of water distribution systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certification\/licences\/formation requises : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Poss\u00e9der un permis de conduire valide.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess Class 1 or Class 2 water operator license, or have the ability to obtain required water licenses within a reasonable length of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Informations compl\u00e9mentaires<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages : <\/strong>Veolia&#8217;s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
