Performs various assigned tasks and physical labor to ensure proper off-site treatment and disposal of customers\u2019 hazardous waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost-effective practices and Clean Earth policies, practices, and procedures. The ability to oversee a small project\/job with supervision of personnel.<\/p>\n

Responsabilit\u00e9s principales (Fonctions essentielles) :<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Handles hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material in accordance with Lab Pack policies, procedures and practices and all applicable regulations.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Perform onsite services which may include waste collection, consolidation (i.e., bulking, repackaging), sampling, safety\/compliance inspections, and other related activities required by the customer\/contract.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Assists other business groups, i.e., Depack, Retail and HHW, for both internally and onsite as needed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Preparing shipment of packaged waste by inspecting, labeling, marking, and loading into the transport vehicle<\/p>\n

\u2022 Properly completes documentation including shipping papers, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR\u2019s), evaluations\/certifications and other required documentation in accordance with appropriate regulations and procedures.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain a Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement to legally operate Clean Earth vehicles necessary for transporting personnel and waste to and from customers\u2019 job locations.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Follows, understands, and promotes by example, all Health & Safety \/Job Safety Analysis (JSA\u2019s) procedures including development of on-site Health &Safety plans\/JSA\u2019s as outlined in the procedures and policies.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Perform unknown field testing for classification and packaging for transportation and disposal.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mentor and assist new employees in field work duties.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Complete site walks to inventory and assess requirements for potential and awarded work.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Assist sales in creating estimates for lab pack work.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lead\/coordinate field service\/lab pack jobs requiring multiple personnel\/days.<\/p>\n

Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Associate College degree in area of General Science or equivalent experience<\/p>\n

\u2022 Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL) with Hazardous Material endorsement and a clear record<\/p>\n

\u2022 Moderate to extensive travel with 20% overnight travel<\/p>\n

\u2022 Physical ability to lift and move material of various weights frequently exceeding 55 lbs.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Basic understanding of chemistry through general chemistry or biology<\/p>\n

\u2022 Advanced knowledge of EPA and DOT<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum one (1) year lab pack experience \uf0a7 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120)<\/p>\n

\u2022 40 hours Depack Experience<\/p>\n

\u2022 8 hours DOT Training<\/p>\n

\u2022 PPE Training which includes Respirators<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lab pack Field Program<\/p>\n

\u2022 Introduction to High Hazardous Cylinder Assessment course<\/p>\n
