Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Boston, Veolia emploie plus de 10 000 personnes r\u00e9partis sur plus de 350 sites en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>As Maintenance Technician, your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility in Detroit, MI.&#xa0; This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.&#xa0; You\u2019ll develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.&#xa0; This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a \u201cJack or Jill of all trades\u201d with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, HVAC, roofing and other related items around the location<\/li>\n<li>Conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds<\/li>\n<li>Utilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills for minor repairs<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs<\/li>\n<li>Always maintain a clean and pristine work area<\/li>\n<li>Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:&#xa0; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dipl\u00f4me d'\u00e9tudes secondaires ou GED<\/li>\n<li>Experience 2+ years in maintenance related field<\/li>\n<li>Must pass physical, drug test and background check<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&#xa0; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification or license in boiler, welding or electrical field (must be willing to obtain the boiler license at company expense.)&#xa0;<\/li>\n<li>Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school in related field<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and OSHA training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate fluently in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Informations suppl\u00e9mentaires :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
